INTROS & APPETIZERS

Greetings, legal marketers and amateur astronomers alike!

This is the first post-total eclipse edition of the RubyRoundup, and we are here to shine a light on the many exciting RubyLaw-related happenings coming into view.

But first, how about some eclipse-inspired music?

To kick off the April edition, we have ten songs that you can play when the next eclipse comes around. And, while you should have Total Eclipse of the Heart streaming, here are ten tracks to play:

—Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine
—Black Star - Astronomy (8th Light)
—Corey Hart - Sunglasses At Night
—JACE Carrillo, Alyko - Eclipse
—Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Blinded by the Light
—Pink Floyd - Brain Damage/Eclipse
—Sade - The Moon and the Sky
—Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
—The Rolling Stones - Paint It, Black
—Yusuf/Cat Stevens - Moonshadow

So as not to "overshadow" this month's newsletter with lots of eclipse mumbo jumbo, here's what's happening:

We congratulate the Schulte team on the firm's recent rebrand and relaunch of SRZ.com. We hint at what's to come with this year's Legal Marketing Technology Ecosystem Study, which will launch later this spring. We also share the RubyLawStack: Unpacked Video Library for anyone who missed that recent series.

Finally, we preview this month's RubyLaw Live session, which will focus on RubyLaw Connector. (There's still time to sign up!)

Have an awesome April, and enjoy this edition of the RubyRoundup: you can even look directly at it!

If you'd like to recommend the RubyRoundup to your colleagues or friends, please forward this email or sign up here.

ANNOUNCEMENTS, LAUNCHES, & BREAKTHROUGHS

Congratulations, Schulte Roth & Zabel!

Kudos to the Schulte team and the entire firm on the recent launch of the new SRZ.com.

In collaboration with Agenda, which developed the brand strategy and differentiated visual identity, the new website reflects the firm's leadership in private capital and its inclusive, connected culture.

We're delighted to join Schulte as the firm embarks on a new chapter, backed by the strength and flexibility of RubyLaw's headless CMS technology.

Coming soon! The 2024 LMTE Study

The Legal Marketing Technology Ecosystem (“LMTE”) Study happens slightly more frequently than total solar eclipses. Unlike its astronomical counterpart, the LMTE Study does not require you to wear special glasses, time with precision, or drive hundreds of miles to witness.

Plus, you can also take part, rather than being a bystander!

In the coming weeks, RubyLaw and the LMA will share more details and launch this year’s initiative, which aims to “eclipse” previous editions.

Stay tuned for more information, and keep your eyes on RubyLawStack.com!

RubyLawStack: Unpacked — Review the 2023 LMTE Study

As we ready ourselves for the 2024 campaign, we want to remind legal marketers and business developers of the breakthroughs and findings of the 2023 Legal Marketing Technology Ecosystem Study.

RubyLawStack: Unpacked, a dynamic video series, surfaces some of our findings in bite-sized, 2-minute clips. Access the entire video library via RubyLawStack.com, or the links below.

RubyLaw Live: RubyLaw Connector — 4/18 at 4pm ET

The April edition of RubyLaw Live is happening on Thursday, April 18, at 4pm ET. For members of the RubyLaw Community who like to be well-connected, please join us for this month's expert Q&A.

Our session will focus on RubyLaw Connector, our REST-based API that comes off the shelf with all implementations of RubyLaw. Between automating manual content entry, connecting back-end systems via integration, making bio updates, synching upcoming events, and trafficking data and content to and from your source of truth, RubyLaw Connector is a powerful tool that increases efficiency, eliminates lost time and reduces costs.

This event is open to RubyLaw clients only.
